U, is for USSR: Russia was once a part of a larger country: the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The USSR was the most powerful communist country in the world. But when the USSR broke, it became many small countries.

V, is for Vladivostok: Vladivostok is an important city on Russia's eastern edge. You can take a train to there. You can go from Moscow to Vladivostok. It usually takes about six or seven days. But you can enjoy the view of the country side!

W, is for White Nights: In St. Petersburg, sometimes the sun stays out for almost twenty four hours! This special time is in the last week of June and called the White Night. People celebrate this day with parties and festivals. Some people don't sleep for days! I'd like to go there on White Night's day and enjoy these parties!

X, is for exports: Russia has lots of oil. It also produces a lot of gas, metal and timber. Russia won the world's largest exports of oil competition's silver medal! Ha ha ha.

Y, is for Yuri Gagarin: Yuri Gagarin was the first man to go to outerspace. He circled the Earth-our home and landed back. The interesting thing is the first woman who went to outerspace was also Russian! How interesting!

Z, is for time zone: Time zone is the time difference of different places. It's divided into 24 of them. Russia itself has 11 of them! W o w ,w o w ,w o w!!!!! So large! Can't believe!
